Colorado Academy is offering the option to purchase a computer from the school as a convenience to families. The school believes the model being offered will meet the needs of our students, and if properly cared for, should last for their entire high school career.
The configuration of the Mac available for purchase from Colorado Academy is the following:*
- Macbook Air 13” with M Series Chip
- 16 GB RAM
- 512 GB Hard Drive
- AppleCare+ for Schools (4 Years)
- Estimated total price: $1250**
While families may purchase these devices on their own, through different vendors, the advantages of purchasing from the school are as follows:
- There is a price discount compared to purchase of the same model directly from Apple.
- Four Years of AppleCare+ for Schools (warranty/insurance) coverage is offered, which includes up to two instances of accidental damage coverage per year with no additional service fees. Additional repairs will be at cost (as quoted by Apple).
- In most situations, Colorado Academy can directly handle support and processing of repairs for computers purchased from the school. In those instances where we can’t manage repairs on site, the school will manage the off-site repair process.
* The exact model and price of the computer is subject to change, depending upon Apple’s release schedule. If the price increases by more than $100, Colorado Academy will verify families’ selection before purchasing equipment.

The total cost of the laptop will be added to your tuition account and be due in August. Since computers are purchased specifically upon request there is no option to change your selection at a later date and the price of the computer is non-refundable.
